Development Public Health

Health Education
We are educating the community on the essentials of public health, nutrition, disease prevention and basic hygiene. We also have opportunities to teach about AIDs prevention through abstinence as well as assist mothers during pregnancy. It is our goal that the people would want to make right behavioral choices to stay healthy. People are very attentive and ask many questions during these teaching sessions. We teach on these topics:
- The importance of hydration and clean drinking water
- Nutritional for growth and development for babies, children and adults, as well as specific nutritional information during pregnancy
- Basic personal hygiene
- Prevention and treatment of scabies, malaria, cholera, diarrhea
- Intensive teaching all aspects of HIV and AIDs
